Can complete beginners join?

What age can my child start learning?

We'll recommend the most appropriate lesson format to ensure students receive sufficient guidance while maintaining focus and making consistent progress.

How often should lessons be taken?

Most students attend one-two lessons each week. This provides a healthy balance between guided learning during lessons and independent practice throughout the week.

Regular weekly lessons also help students build consistency, which is one of the most important factors in long-term musical development.

What happens if we miss a lesson?

We understand that unexpected situations can arise from time to time.

Where a lesson is missed due to a genuine emergency, a replacement lesson will be arranged at a mutually convenient time. For all other situations, we simply ask that sufficient notice is given so alternative arrangements can be considered.

As lessons are individually reserved for each student, advance notice helps us manage our teaching schedule fairly while accommodating other learners whenever possible.

Can lesson timings be changed?

Do I need a fast internet connection?

As long as audio and video remain reasonably clear, lessons can be conducted effectively without specialised equipment or advanced technical knowledge.

As a general guide, students who attend two lessons per week and practise consistently often begin noticing significant improvement within six to eight months. Some students progress more quickly, while others may take longer—and that's perfectly normal.
